Getting Admitted: The College Admissions Process (Online Seminar)

We are teaching an online course all about the college admissions process and we’d love for you to come!

In this one hour seminar, we will talk about picking colleges that are the ‘right’ fit, utilizing different application types, deciding what to include (and what not to include) on applications and much, much more. We will also take specific questions and can cater the course to fit the needs of the audience.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the 2 admissions seminars planned for this spring have been cancelled by Cheshire Adult Education. This is for the safety of everyone who planned to attend and, as such, we support this decision.

“Getting Admitted: The College Application Process” –scheduled to run on Monday 09/23/19

“The College Admissions Essay: A ‘How-To’ Guide for Success” –scheduled to run on Monday 10/07/19
Come learn about the “do’s” and “don’ts” of the college admissions essay. Course will cover picking the right essay topic (including what not to write about), when to write the essay, steps of the writing process, and factors that admissions counselors look for in an applicant’s essay.  Leave with creative ideas and pointers to give your student a competitive edge. Taught by experts who have already helped hundreds of applicants apply to (and get accepted to) countless colleges throughout the nation. Course is perfect for freshman and sophomores looking to plan ahead, juniors in the middle of the admissions process and seniors who need to catch up in the process. Both students and parents are invited to attend! Please come prepared to take notes!
